The season of falling leaves, scented candles and cozy evenings at home is here. So often this season becomes a stark contrast to the social and exciting time that is the summer. We bundle up in knitted sweaters and barricade in bed to binge-watch TV. We stay at home, thinking that the dark and cold mean that we can’t explore and try new things.
Meanwhile, autumn is one of the most exciting times of the year. New restaurants open and become the talk of the town, design collaborations finally landing in stores and new art exhibitions opening at galleries & museums across the Nordics.
The Nude Notes team have gathered some things we think you should keep your eyes out for this autumn. Hoping to fill this season with new experiences and new favourites. These are the things and the places to see.

1. Emberlin, Restaurant, Stockholm
Opening: end of 2026.
Multi-Michelin starred chef Björn Frantzén is opening a new restaurant in the heart of Östermalm, Stockholm. Emberlin will focus on open-fire cooking and a curated cocktail menu in the bar. Promising late nights with fire touched food and strong drinks, we will be sure to book a table as soon as they open. Perhaps for a warm date night in the cold of winter?

2. TAMBO, Restaurant, Copenhagen

Former head chef of the adored Atelier September, Bernardo Consantino, is opening a new hot spot in Copenhagen. Partnering with interior designer Tilde Emborg Fossum to create a dining table that will sit at the heart of the restaurant. Communal seating, open fires and Danish produce. Is it a new jewel on the crown that is the Copenhagen food scene? Time will tell.

3. Vinbageriet, Restaurant, Stockholm
Open: Mon-Sat every week
The newly opened Vinbageriet in Stockholm is placed just behind the Hedvig Eleonora church in Östermalm. The name translates to Winebakery, quite telling of what the place aspires to be. Open from morning, serving baked goods and breakfast, to late at night serving wine and small plates of delicious Swedish contemporary food. Come for the bread, stay for the warm atmosphere. It is truly a place one can spend the whole day at.

4. Marje, Dining Experience, Helsinki
Open: Only October 2026
A restaurant that only will exist for 16 nights. Sounds like something from a fairytale. Marje is a unique dining experience that will happen in Helsinki in October. Chef Sirly Ylläsjärvi takes over the historic Meilahti Manor. A tribute to Ylläsjärvis Estonian grandmother Marje, the dinner will take place at a communal table with the aim to show that food is love. Book now before the chance is over.
