I do believe that how we present ourselves matters. Not for others, necessarily, but for ourselves. What you wear can lift your mood, your confidence and the way you carry yourself because when you feel good in what you wear, it shows in everything you do. Even though I've always loved fashion and dressing up, after a long day at the office, running errands and meeting people, there's no better feeling than coming home and changing into a comfy lounge set.

For me, it's a way to reset and signal to my brain that it's time to switch off and relax. It's my official cue that the workday is over. I wouldn't call myself a germ freak, but there's something that just feels wrong about wearing your "outside clothes" while relaxing in your own home by yourself. Maybe it's just me.

Even so, it's still important for me to feel put together and chic while I'm relaxing. As I mentioned, what I wear, and more importantly, how my clothes make me feel matters, even when I'm just lounging around at home. I love a matching set or an easy dress that I can simply throw on and feel cute yet comfortable in.
